The Hidden Valley
The Hidden Valley, also known as Horse Cove, is located in the mountains of western North Carolina between the beautiful towns of Highlands and Cashiers.   Just travel the winding backroads lined with pristine oaks and maples of every shape and size and you may fall in love with this place.  In the fall there are more colors then you could imagine and scenic vistas at every turn of the road. National forests and wildlife sanctuaries abound in this area and offer a few of the many activities for the outdoorsman in all of us to explore and learn from nature. Feel free to roam around the countryside along the miles of groomed trails that backup to our property and the surrounding area of Highlands and Cashiers.  Visit one of the many rivers and streams in the area to experience one of the best fly fishing spots in the United States.  We have two of the top ten fly fishing rivers within driving distance of our cabins.  In addition to hiking and fly fishing, you can go rafting on the Chatooga, boating on Lake Glenville, or shopping at the multitude of charming shops that range from boutiques to inviting antique stores.
